NestieLock works on most wooden and laminate furniture with doors or drawers up to 1.5 inches thick. It's not recommended for metal surfaces or very thick cabinet doors, but fits standard kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom furniture perfectly.

The adhesive is designed for strong holding power but can be removed carefully. Clean the surface with rubbing alcohol after removal. While some residue may remain, it won't damage properly sealed wood or laminate surfaces when removed gently.

The magnetic locking mechanism is extremely secure against children under 12 years old. The lock remains hidden inside, so children can't see or manipulate it. Only the adult-controlled magnetic key can release the lock mechanism reliably.

Always-open mode disables the lock by switching a button, allowing the drawer to open and close normally. Use this convenient feature when children aren't home or in rooms they don't access, saving you from using the magnetic key constantly.
